King Tree is very happy to be the winner of the Plan France Relance to adapt its Labruguière site to the tannery and create an additional production line, quite distinct from the one already existing, for the leather industry.

“Our ambition is to relocate in France and more specifically to the Tarn, as close as possible to the local forest massif, the production of specialties based on chestnut tannin to relaunch a vegetable tanning industry in Europe. The return to vegetable and biodegradable tannins responds to the ecological and qualitative concerns of leather and fashion professionals” emphasizes Pierre-Hugues Tierny, Managing Director.

King Tree would like to thank the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery, BPI France, the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region, the Tarn et Garonne Department, the Agglomeration Community of Castres-Mazamet and the city of Labruguière for their support.
