Chestnut wood extract (Castanea sativa Mill.) is authorized :
As an additive in animal nutrition for all species according to the European Register of Authorized Feed Additives (Sensory additive, functional group of aromatic substances (2b) – Castanea Sativa Mill: Chestnut extract (European Union Register of Feed Additives pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003)).
Organic food in accordance with the decision of the National Organic Agriculture Committee of December 19, 2012 (product certified as organic by FR-BIO-10).
In human food :
– In oenology : Council Regulation (EC) No. 479/2008 of April 29, 2008 on the common organization of the market in wine.
– As a natural flavoring : Regulation (EU) No. 1334/2008 establishing the Community list of flavoring substances authorized in foodstuffs.
– As a clarifying agent: Order of March 8, 2013, amending the order of October 19, 2006, on the use of processing aids in the manufacture of certain foods.
– Our extracts are also authorized for the manufacture of food supplements by the DGAL (Directorate General for Food) and in accordance with the plant order of June 24, 2014.
